DS EXTENDED HEAD UP DISPLAY

The Extended Head Up Display marks an immersive visual experience likened to augmented reality. Projected through the windscreen on a 21 inch diagonal image 4 metres ahead, digital information appears to be on the road so you never have to take your eyes off it.
DS IRIS SYSTEM
DS IRIS SYSTEM is our new intuitive, ergonomic information ecosystem that can be completely personalised. It combines a personal assistant that uses a touch interface as well as understanding what you say so the system does what you want, when you want.
DS SMART TOUCH
Access one of your 6 favourite shortcuts (destination, contact, radio, ventilation set-up etc…) using a single movement without taking your eyes off the road through DS SMART TOUCH. Perfectly situated close to your hand, this touchscreen follows your movements and recognises gestures such as zooming in, zooming out and even handwriting.
DS DRIVE ASSIST

We’ve come up with DS DRIVE ASSIST* to help you while enabling you to retake control of your car at any time. It includes Adaptive Cruise Control, which adjusts your speed and distance relative to the vehicle in front and Lane Positioning Assist, which positions your DS 4 precisely in its lane by controlling the steering wheel. It controls speed and direction and enhances your safety and peace of mind at the wheel.

DS MATRIX LED VISION
The new generation of DS MATRIX LED VISION projector headlamps are slim and modern looking and give DS 4 hatchback Matrix Beam and Dynamic Bending Light (lighting that sees round corners). The beam accurately senses your surroundings and adapts to it with five pre-set modes (town, country, motorway, bad weather and fog), so that you can use main beam headlamps in all conditions, without dazzling other road users. 
REAR TRAFFIC DETECTION PACK
For extra reassurance, this system detects vehicles in your side blind spots when you’re driving, whatever their approach speed. With a range up to 75 metres, it warns you of hazards with a flashing LED in the mirror on the relevant side. When you manoeuvre in reverse gear, you are alerted to moving obstacles up to 40m away in your rear blind spot. 
PROXIMITY KEYLESS ENTRY & START
DS 4 automatically unlocks when you get to within 2 metres and the door handles, hidden until then, appear. You can then start your car easily with the Start/Stop button. When you leave the car, it's the same principle. The door handles retract and the car locks automatically.

Active Safety Brake
Day or night, this system detects obstacles such vehicles (driving in the same direction or stopped), pedestrians, cyclists as well as motorbikes in your lane. In case of immediate danger, the driver is alerted by a visual and audible warning; if they still don’t react, the automatic braking then acts.

Enjoy driving in maximum comfort with speed and information Extended Trafic Sign Recognition technology. This system reads permanent and temporary signposts on the road then displays them on your instrument panel warning you instantly of possible speeding. You can also modify the settings of the cruise control/speed limiter to adjust your speed to the speed limit.

ChatGPT is integrated in DS IRIS System thanks to the audio and voice recognition system of SoundHound. Being an Artificial Intelligence language model, it is developed to generate human-like responses based on deep learning, but as it is new and developing technology, its answers or information may not be totally accurate, correct or objective. The plug-in hybrid range requires mains electricity for charging. The WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) is used to measure fuel consumption, electric range and CO2 figures. Figures shown are for comparison purposes and should only be compared to the fuel consumption, electric range and CO2 values of other cars tested to the same technical standard. The figures displayed for the plug-in hybrid range were obtained using a combination of battery power and fuel. Information correct at time of going to print.
